Welcome to Pick A Puppy NYC. By purchasing a puppy, placing a deposit, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. Agreement to Terms

By engaging with Pick A Puppy NYC, the buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined in this agreement.

2. All Sales Are Final

All puppy purchases are final.
We do not offer refunds under any circumstances once a puppy has been purchased and/or delivered.

3. Deposits

  • Deposits are non-refundable
  • Deposits secure a specific puppy and remove it from availability
  • Failure to complete payment may result in forfeiture of the deposit

4. Payments

  • Full payment must be completed before or at the time of delivery/pickup unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • Payment plans (if offered) must be followed exactly as agreed
  • The puppy remains the property of Pick A Puppy NYC until paid in full

5. Health Guarantee

We pride ourselves on providing healthy, high-quality puppies.

  • Puppies are sold in good health at the time of delivery
  • Buyers must take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 48–72 hours of receiving the puppy

Genetic Conditions

  • In the rare event of a verified genetic or hereditary condition:
    • Store credit or replacement puppy only
    • No refunds
  • Valid veterinary documentation is required

6. Buyer Responsibility

By purchasing a puppy, the buyer agrees to:

  • Provide proper care (food, water, shelter, vet care)
  • Understand the time and financial responsibility of owning a puppy
  • Follow all local laws regarding pet ownership

Once the puppy is in the buyer’s possession, all responsibility transfers to the buyer.

7. Delivery & Pickup

  • Delivery arrangements must be agreed upon in advance
  • Once the puppy is delivered or picked up, Pick A Puppy NYC is no longer responsible for the puppy

8. No Guarantees on Size, Color, or Temperament

Estimates may be provided, but are not guaranteed, as puppies can change as they grow.

9. Limitation of Liability

Pick A Puppy NYC is not responsible for:

  • Non-genetic health issues after delivery
  • Allergies
  • Training or behavioral issues

10. Right to Refuse Sale

We reserve the right to refuse a sale if we believe it is not in the best interest of the puppy.

11. Agreement Acknowledgment

By completing a purchase, the buyer confirms they understand and agree to all terms and accept full responsibility for the puppy.
